Gas Station Broken Into On Bustleton Avenue
A thief too stupid to know what he was doing caused thousands of dollars in damage to a gas station, repair facility located on the 6700 block of Bustleton Avenue. This happened during the overnight hours of January 2, 2024, police said.
At first, he tries to gain entry by smashing a window on the service bay. Then he goes for the front door, where he ultimately entered the business. He looks around and tries to open the cash register but he cannot. In the meantime, a burglar alarm was sounded.
The thief runs from the property and was last seen north on Bustleton Ave. There has been an uptick in commercial building break in’s in that area. Police stopped short of saying this perp was connected.to them. No security footage was released as of yet. Police did say the male was wearing surgical gloves.
