Bristol Township Male Gets Six years In Jail For Abusing His Girlfriend

Ali Harrison-El, of Bristol Township is going to be living in state prison for the next six years. That, after he was found guilty of two counts of assault and harassment and one count of theft. Court officials said that on Dec. 31, 2022, Bristol Township Police responded to the Wawa, 5900 Bristol Pike, where a woman had called to report being assaulted by her boyfriend. The assault happened at a home in the 4900 block of Beaver Dam Road. The victim told police Harrison-El punched her in the head and chest and struck her in the stomach with a curtain rod. Harrison-El then took her phone, so she could not call the police. She walked to the Wawa to call 911.

Police investigated and found marks on the victim and they secured an arrest warrant for Harrison-El. A few weeks later, police were back at the home on Beaver Dam Road and found that El- had pushed and slapped the same woman, as she was calling the police.

Calling him a danger to public safety, Common Pleas Judge Charissa Liller sentenced him to serve the time, noting that he never took any responsibility for his actions. He made attempts to contact the victim, even after being told not to. Some of those attempts were from jail. El has a criminal history, that includes identity theft and public drunkenness, which factored into his prison sentence.
