Homeless Shoplifter Arrested After Running From Warrington Police

Warrington Police were called to the Wegmans on Main Street for a report of a shoplifter. When they got there, they were given a description of the male that walked out with $436.41 worth of merchandise he did not pay for . This merchandise was from the pharmacy department., police said.

Armed with that description, the male was found near the store by police. When they searched him they found that he was homeless and had drug paraphernalia on him. He was identified as George Spotts.

He was transported to police headquarters and charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a court date and released. Police said the indecent happened on January 16, 2024.. .
