Philadelphia Police: Dangerous Juvenile Prisoner Escapes Custody

It was just before noon today that police arrived at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with 17 year old Shane Pryor. He was going to the hospital for a medical procedure, police said, when he bolted from officers.. Police did not say if he was handcuffed.
He is a 17 year old black male, light complexion, Shane Pryor 5’7″, 180 lbs was last seen wearing a blue sweater, blue sweat pants, no shoes.
Pryor was last seen running near university Avenue and Civic Center Blvd. He is unarmed but police called him “dangerous”. They did not release his original charge, but court records show it was for murder and firearms charges. .
