Car and Box Truck Collide In Northeast Philadelphia

A serious collision happened today about 11:00 AM at the intersection of Bliegh and Oxford Aves. The crash totaled one car and possibly a box truck. One woman was taken to the hospital in serious but non life threatening condition, authorities said at the scene.
The box truck was north on Oxford Avenue and the car was on Bliegh entering the intersection , which is controlled by a traffic light. Police did not say which vehicle went through the red light.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
