Three Found Dead In Holmesburg House From Carbon Monoxide

When a family inside 4006 Ashburner Street had not been heard from in about a week, relatives called 911 for police and fire crews to do a well being check. When the door was open, authorities found the bodies of three people inside the house. A relative said she thinks they were in the rear bedroom area.
The family was inside the dwelling for an unknown time before the discovery was made about 1:20 PM Firefighters were seen wearing air bottles, going into the house, while others carried in meters to measure the CO particulates in the air.. A dentist office next door was also checked for readings. Those readings appeared to be normal, as workers were seen going inside.

Multiple police commanders and fire units were called to the scene, causing Ashburner Street to be closed to traffic at Frankford Avenue. The identities of the deceased have not been made public .
