Male Wanted For Attempted Sexual Assault On Girard Avenue

A black male believed to be in his early 30’s. He is approximately 5’10 to 6 feet tall, with a stocky build, full beard, wearing a brownish-green winter coat, black hooded sweatshirt with “NIRVANA” logo, black Under Armour track pants with a thick white strip at the side and base of the legs, and black Under Armour running sneakers with a white sole. He appears to walk with a slight “pigeon toe” step. That is who Philadelphia Police are looking for.
It was about 7:54 PM when the male in the below video was walking by himself on the 500 block of East Girard Ave. on the night of February 11, 2024. He then spotted a 24 year old female walking by herself, going home after working out at the gym. He then follows her and when she realizes the male is too close for comfort,she tries to get out of his way, but he follows her.
Police said he made an attempt to sexually assault her but was not successful. He left on foot in an unknown direction.
