Police Investigating Very Unusual Shooting In Somerton

Philadelphia Police are investigating a very unusual incident that happened yesterday, February 27,2024. A 35 year old male walked into the 7th Police District headquarters and told the operations room that he had been shot. When he was asked for more details, he told officers that he was shot in his right leg.
He also informed police that he was shot three days ago, February 24,2024 on the 100 block of Densmore Road. He said this shooting happened on the street. Police went to investigate and found no scene. There have been no arrests or suspects. Police transported the male to Jefferson -Torresdale Hospital where he is in stable condition.
The investigation continues.
