Two Under Arrest In Bus Stop Shooting On Cottman Avenue

Two black males were arrested by Philadelphia Police and now face multiple charges, in regards to a shooting On Cottman Avenue

On March 6,2024. Eight children, all students at Northeast High School sustained injuries ranging from critical to minor. Two SEPTA buses were struck by gunfire as well.

Arrested was Ahnile Buggs, 18, from 1000 West Olney Avenue, and Jamaal Tucker, also 18, of 200 East Slocum Street. Since both males are 18, they are being charged as adults. They face charges of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault (8 counts), REAP (8 counts), as well as multiple related offenses.

Police are confident that they will arrest the other two males involved in this incident.
