Traffic Alert Tomorrow For Love Run Half Marathon
On Sunday, March , 2024, the Love Run Half Marathon will take place. The race will begin in the 2200 block of B.F. Parkway and travel east on the Parkway to 16th St. using the south side of Logan Circle. South on 16th St., west on to JFK Blvd to 20th St, left on 20th to Market St. East on Market St to 15th St, south on 15th St to South Penn east on South Penn, north on Juniper and east on Market to 6th St. North on 6th to Arch St, West on Arch to B F Parkway, bear right and follow to Eakins Oval. Bear right and follow Kelly Drive to Brewery Hill Dr.
Right turn onto Brewery Hill Dr. to Girard Ave. West on Girard (across bridge) to Lansdowne Dr. Right turn to Sweet Briar, make left on MLK to turn around in the area of Falls Bridge. Continue back on MLK to Black Rd make right turn on Black Rd. Follow Black Rd and make right turn at circle onto Avenue of the Republic to East Memorial Hall Dr. make left turn to South Concourse Dr. make a left and follow South Concourse (which becomes Lansdowne Dr.) to Girard. East on Girard Ave to Brewery Hill Dr., take Brewery Hill Dr. and make left onto Kelly Drive. Inbound on Kelly Dr. to finish line at the Art Museum.
2. The 7K race will begin in the 2200 block of B.F. Parkway and travel east on the Parkway to 16th St., south on 16th St. to JFK Blvd., west on JFK Blvd. to 20th St., south on 20th St. to Market St., east on Market to 15th St., south on 15th St. to South Penn Square, east on South Penn Square to Juniper, north on Juniper to Market St., east on Market to 6th St., north on 6th St. to Arch St., west on Arch St. to B.F. Parkway, B.F. Parkway to Binswanger Triangle and make a hard left between the Triangle and Eakins Oval to the finish line on the south side of the Oval.
3. The race is scheduled to start at 7:30 AM. All detours, east of 18th Street should be open no later than 10:30 AM. The area immediately surrounding Eakins Oval should be opened by approximately 12:00 PM.
There will be police assigned to the detours around the race route to assist motorist: however, motorists should expect delays in the area of the race.
