Bensalem Police Arrest Burglar Who Targeted Asians

Police in Bensalem have Frederick Gray in custody and have charged him with at least one burglary in the township. It was back on September 30, 2023 that a resident came home to find their front door unlocked and their Village Green home ransacked. Police were called. In2024 a lot of people have security cameras and that is what police went after.
Video showed a white sprinter type van parked in the driveway. The video shows suspects breaking in through the rear door and turning the home security cameras away to avoid their faces being shown. It was too late. police had what they needed, it would just take time.
Police ran the sprinter van against license plate readers and got a hit. Frederick Gray from Henry Avenue. They spotted the van driving and stopped it. Gray was behind the wheel. They got his cell phone and would later get a warrant.
They stopped Gray again and had a warrant for his phone and DNA. They took his cell phone and DNA and sent him on his way. It was just a matter of time. On his cell phone was a video he shared with people of the house on Village Green Blvd. His cell phone coordinates put him in the general area of the Village Green burglary.
They had an arrest warrant for Gray and spotted him again near Street Road and Old Lincoln Highway. They took him into custody and found a GPS tracker on him that he could use to track people, they said.
He was charged with Burglary and sent to prison under $250,000 bail.
During the investigation, Bensalem Police found evidence of a group of criminals targeting Asian Americans who have businesses in Philadelphia. There is also evidence that GPS trackers are being placed on the vehicles of these business owners to identify and target their homes. Similar crimes have been reported in surrounding counties. Bensalem Police are closely coordinating with police departments throughout the region to identify the other persons involved in the burglary on Village Greene Boulevard and similar crimes in the area.
