Vehicle Knocks Down Street Light In Center City

It was just before 6:00 AM today, when a vehicle went out of control and slammed into a traffic light, knocking it to the ground on the 900 block of Chestnut Street. The vehicle then went onto a sidewalk and came to rest next to a building.
Minor injuries were reported. There was a minor traffic delay from the crash. The Streets Department was called to replace the traffic light.
