Beau Booth, 41, of James Street in the Frankford section of Philadelphia came into the Bensalem Wal-Mart on May 8, 2024. He brought Kathyrn Stewart with him, also from Philadelphia. The pair had Wal-Mart bags and they began to stuff the bags with merchandise. Police were called while they were still in the store.

As officers waited outside for the pair to leave, they had no idea what was about to transpire. Booth left the store first , carrying a small shoulder bag around his chest. He also had Wal-Mart bags . He started to fight police who tried to take him into custody. The reason he fought was not for the simple retail theft. It was due to the fact that he was a previously convicted felon and inside the shoulder bag was a Walther .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun, which was fully loaded, with the safety off.

That is almost certain prison time. In an effort to throw police off his case, he allegedly gave them a false name. Twice. It would not take long to get his real name when he was booked into police headquarters.

He also had the Walmart bag with the stolen items inside and pills that were not prescribed to him.

When Stewart exited the store, she too gave police a fake name. She was charged with he was arraigned by District Justice Gary Gambardella and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $25,000 bail.
