Kensington Street Festival To Be Held This Saturday
Made on American Street Festival celebrates Philadelphia’s ingenuity, creativity, and craftsmanship. Quench your thirst with some of the area’s finest brews at the Made on American Street Festival. Hosted by community-oriented Wissahickon Brewing Company, Punchbuggy Brewing Company, and Home Brewed Events, the community beer and music festival will be the main party. It’s part of community efforts to clean up Kensington, where East Falls-based Wissahickon Brewing Co., with its new cider house facility, and other businesses, are investing and moving in to revitalize the neighborhood.
Festival-goers can check out the best of the city’s diverse craft beer, cider, and spirits. They can shop for artisanal homemade crafts at a Maker’s Marketplace that supports the thriving local entrepreneurial economy and community. They can enjoy palate-pleasers from food trucks and restaurants, and diverse live music.
