Philadelphia, PA – July 13, 2025 — City Winery Philadelphia brings the acclaimed national showcase Poetry vs. Hip-Hop® back to Philadelphia, for it’s sixth installment, as part of its 10-Year Anniversary Tour. Known for blurring the lines between performance, protest, and power, this City Winery stop will be one for the books. This show of lyrical mastery promises to be a cultural event like no other—hosted by Comedian Ken Jones, and headlined by the founder Queen Sheba, the 2025 and 2024 Grammy-Nominated Spoken Word-Poet, and Theresa Tha SONGBIRD, founder of the viral brand and poem “You So Black,” as featured on the Trumpet Awards.

Also featuring powerhouse poet Lady Sarkazym and KILLA WORDSMYTH – Philadelphia’s Hip-Hop lyrical legend of the people.
