BUCKS COUNTY, PA – Democrat Danny Ceisler has defeated Republican incumbent Fred Harran in the race for Bucks County Sheriff. marking a significant political shift in one of Pennsylvania’s most closely watched county races.

Harran’s campaign, once seen as solid, lost momentum after controversay over his proposed partnership with U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement under the 287 (g) program. an effort county commissioners ruled he lacked authority to pursue.

Ceisler, an attorney and Army veteran, ran on a message of restoring trust, focusing the sheriff’s office on public safety, and clearing a backlog of unserved warrants rather than diverting resources to immigration enforcement.

In the end, voters ultimately chose Ceisler’s promise of local accountability over Harran’s nationalized law and order pitch, cooling off the incumbent as the Democrat turned up the heat to win.

  1. Another smelly election turn.
I blame the “behind the scenes” crowd for using their elite powers to sway votors, and/or perhaps mess with the actual voting process – just like they did before, several times.

    1. When Republicans win elections are fine. When Democrats win then there must be something nefarious. There were no major concerns with the validity of our elections until Trump was asked about accepting results if he were to lose to Clinton. That’s when the foundation was laid.
I blame government lawlessness. Just like when lower and middle class voters felt ignored by the Democrats for a decade. They voted Trump in for a second term. Now the sentiment has reversed as this administration’s economic policies are crushing those same people along with a trampling of constitutional rights.
