64 Year Old Repeat Offender Steals From Same Store, Fights Same Police

64 year old Gardner Davenport is no stranger to police. The 64 year old Philadelphia resident turned a simple retail theft case into a felony robbery in July of this year.
Apparently, he is at it again. On Nov 25, 2025 Davenport went back to the same ACME on Street Road. Police said that he allegedly stole from the same store that he was arrested for stealing from . Gardner was approached by police near Bustleton Pike where he started to again fight police.
At one point, officers said he ran into traffic to avoid getting arrested. It did not work and Davenport was soon in the back of a police car. When he was searched, he allegedly had drugs and drug paraphernalia on him, police said.
Gardner was charged with felony retail theft, resisting arrest and narcotics violations.
