Truck Takes Down Wires, Causes Rt. 13 to be Closed In Bensalem

Motorists that want to travel to and from Croydon will have to use State Road as a detour, as the 4000 block of Bristol Pike has been closed to traffic. The reason, a tractor trailer took down wires and part of a telephone pole.
There will be a power outage to a larger area once PECO arrives and finds out what needs to be done. Police said the incident happened about 10:30 AM. There were no injuries in this accident and no other vehicles were involved.
Traffic is expected to be diverted for several hours. The truck was traveling south when the incident happened, but both lanes of travel are affected.
