Man Dies After Assault On Northeast Street

Philadelphia Police have announced that 54 year old Kevin Fahey was in a confrontation on the 9300 block of Annapolis Road. The assault happened January 17, 2026 abut 2:20 PM. Fahey was transported to Jefferson Hospital by medics , where police were called to take the report.
Fahey was admitted in critical condition from the assault and remained in critical condition until January 31, 2026 ,when he was pronounced dead at 2:37 PM. The Medical Examiner did an autopsy and determined the cause of death to be a Homicide on February 1 2026, police said.
The Philadelphia Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault. No arrests have been made at this time, and no descriptions of potential suspects have been released. Police are looking for videos, phone records and will look at traffic cameras and license plate readers to help them find a suspect.
