Reckless Driving Teenagers Crash Stolen Car In Southampton and NE Philly

Lower Southampton Twp. Police announced the arrest of two juvenile delinquents, a 16 and 13 year old who police allege were driving a stolen car and crashed it several times in Feasterville and again in the Somerton section of Northeast Philadelphia.

This incident happened 0on February 12, 2026 when police on patrol of the Bucks Crossing Shopping Center along E. Street Rd. A stolen 2017 gray Hyundai Elantra driven by the 16 year old with the 13 year old as a passengers was seen exiting the lot at a high speed, as the occupants saw the officer.

While fleeing, the driver continued eastbound on Street Road at a high rate of speed and attempted to split between two vehicles, striking both. The driver failed to stop and continued at a high rate of speed into Philadelphia, police said.

Police radio notified nearby jurisdictions, including Philadelphia of the stolen car. A short time later, Bucks County Radio was advised that the driver of the stolen vehicle crashed into another car in Philadelphia, at which time the vehicle became disabled. Bystanders gave Philly police a description of the two males, who were quickly rounded up.

They were given over to Lower Southampton Twp. where they face charges of being in a stolen vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident and related offenses.
