“Stupid” Porch Pirate In South Philly Caught On Multiple Security Cameras

An inept package thief stole multiple packages from the front steps of a home on the 100 block of Carpenter St. in South Philadelphia during the afternoon of April 13, 2026. It was about 2:00 PM when he walked by, saw the packages, and then returned. Right in front of the camera system, he picks up multiple deliveries, stuffs them in a backpack and leaved in an unknown direction.
Stealing packages from the front porch of a home is just plain stupid. You risk getting caught on security cameras like this guy did and you also s guy did or you risk getting caught by police. You have no idea of what is in the package.
While you hope for a pair of Beats headphones, it’s actually size XXL adult diapers, a multi pack. Or it may be a BFO switch replacement for a DX160. Don’t know what that is? Neither does the thief.
