by Alex Lloyd Gross
20 Year Old Legend Hall of Philadelphia will be spending the next 11 1/2 years in federal prison for his role in a car jacking that happened on October 17 2024. It was on that date that Legend and co defendants Kristian Jackson, 20, also of Philadelphia, and Jalaal Claitt, 20, of Atlanta, Georgia placed a bogus order for food from a pizza shop in Upper Darby.

When the driver delivered the food, the three pointed guns at him and stole his wallet, phone, car keys, the proceeds of the pizza shop, and the rest of the money that Victim #2 had on him at the time. Hall and the others then jumped into the victim’s vehicle and fled the area.

There was another car jacking that the trio were involved with about a month prior. On September 17, a male parked his car on the 300 block of 52nd Street. As soon as the car was parked, the three males set up on the driver and demanded he drive them somewhere. When he refused, the pulled guns on him and stole his car .

Co-defendant Jackson pleaded guilty to the West Philadelphia carjacking. He got eight years in prison. Jalaal Claitt entered a guilty plea to both carjackings. He gets sentenced in July of this year.
