Phila Police Report Suspicious Death In Northeast

Philadelphia Police have more questions than answers about an incident they are investigating. About 4:41 PM, they were called to the area of the Pennypack Creek close to the 3100 block of Rhawn Street. They found a deceased adult. They are not sure if it is a male or female.
The investigation into the cause and manner of death is currently active and ongoing. The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northeast Detective Division (NEDD) is working in conjunction with the Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the deceased and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police have no idea how long the body has been there.
