by Alex Lloyd Gross
Any lawyer will tell you, if you get a ticket you address it. It’s your responsibility to contact the court to address the matter. 21-year-old Alexi Candido Yanes-Galves did not learn that. Back on August 2, 2020, he was stopped in Warrington, near the Sparta Gas Station for an expired registration and insurance cancellation.

When the officer continued to speak with him, Yanes -Galves produced an El Salvador identification card. Police found marijuana in his vehicle and took him to the police station for processing. A citation was issued and he did not show up for court.

Almost six years later, he was stopped by police in Montgomery Township and they found his warrant. He was taken to the Bucks County Prison under $10,000/ 10 percent bail. Police said he also has an arrest warrant out of Maryland.
His charges include (18) 780-113 (A31) PROHIBITED ACTS; PENALTIES (M) (18) 780-113 (A32) PROHIBITED ACTS; PENALTIES (M) (75) 1786 (F) REQUIRED FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (S) (75) 1501 (A) – DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE (S)
