Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Actors Meet Real Tortoises At Philadelphia Zoo

What were some actors that played in the 1990’s movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles doing at the Philadelphia Zoo yesterday? They were getting up close and personal, learning about the Galapagos Tortoises that are on display there.
Brian Tochi (Leonardo), Kenn Scott (Raphael), and François Chau (Shredder) showed up to the animal enclosure and were given sticks of celery to feed the animals. So about 10:45 AM,the three actors got to work. The huge reptiles enjoyed their company and kept sticking their giant necks out, looking for more food.
The actors at at the Fan Expo convention that runs this weekend at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, It was there that people can meet all three actors, get autographs and discuss all things turtle with them. There are other actors and different pop culture vendors there as well.

The actors were not in costume, they were not recognized for the 20 minutes or so that they were there. They are lucky that they have that anonymity, which they will not have while they are at the convention. At the zoo, the turtles names are Mommy, Abrazzo, and their hatchlings. Some are close to 100 years old, zoo officials said.
