State Rep Joe Hogan Announces School Security Grants

HARRISBURG – Rep. Joe Hogan (R-Bucks) announced today that three private schools that serve the 142nd District have been awarded school safety and security grants from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency’s (PCCD) School Safety and Security Committee.

Schools receiving funding are as follows:

-Conwell Egan Catholic High School has been awarded $75,000.

-Faith Baptist Christian Academy has been awarded $51,333.

-The Pen Ryn School has been awarded $67,500.

“This funding will be a significant help to these schools,” said Hogan. “Students come from across lower Bucks to attend and they deserve to learn in a safe and healthy environment. I’m glad my colleagues and I could work together to keep students and faculty safe”

This funding is part of nearly $20 million awarded across the Commonwealth to help address school violence and improve student mental health, as well as bolster school security, including costs associated with training and compensation of school security personnel.
