Scooter Rider Struck On Bensalem Boulevard

A juvenile male on a scooter was hit by a car on the 5000 block of Bensalem Boulevard just before noon today. According to police, the injuries he sustained were not life threatening. The driver of the car that hit him did stay at the scene.
That car, a red BMW sustained minor damage to the front of the car, while the scooter was ripped apart. According to witnesses, the car was traveling towards Gibson Road. It is unknown where the scooter was coming from.
While apparatus did block part of Bensalem Boulevard, it was only partially closed and traffic alternated directions. No roads were closed and detoured.
