Woman Charged With Murder In Germantown Domestic Incident

Marianne L. Wright from the 600 block of E. Chelten Ave, was arrested and charged with murder, abuse of a corpse and related offenses, after police said she allegedly stabbed Dorakoma Lim, 37, multiple times on October 1, 2026..
Lim’s body was found in a closet, bound with duct tape. He was found dead and the autopsy showed that he had been stabbed several times.The death was ruled a homicide. According to authorities, During the investigation, officers learned that Wright and Lim had been in an “off and on” romantic relationship. A witness known to the Commonwealth stated that Wright summoned them to the apartment for assistance and eventually told them that she needed help carrying Lim to the hospital, while claiming that he was still alive. The witness further stated that Wright knew Lim was inside the closet and checked on him before 911 was called.
Wright is being held without bail.
