FBI and Police Remove More Evidence From The House Of Horrors

by Alex Lloyd Gross

For the past week, federal and local law enforcement has been at the Horsch house on the 400 block of W Chew Avenue . Agents have been seen taking out multiple trash bags and leaving them piled at a curb. Other bags are brought to evidence trucks.

This has been going on since June 19, 2026, when investigators found what they said was evidence that one of seven missing women were there. Drain pipes have been dug up, and speculation has been that RC Horsch either lured of brought girls to his house and then killed them and used lye or other chemicals to liquefy the body. That is why sewer pipes are being taken out for investigation.

Police have closed the immediate area, sort of. Residents were seen walking by, across the street and businesses along the 500 block of W. Chew have been open. While vehicles cannot drive down the street, the sidewalk is open to pedestrians. Police have been ignoring people that walk into the barbershop or the tax office. When those customers walk to the corner of 5th and Lawrence and take photos, they are ignored.

When members of the media do this, police erroneously ask them to stand at 5th and Chew. If a street it open to the general public, for any purpose it is open to the media. This is a huge story with worldwide interest and the additional apparatus and manpower arriving is only gong to intensify people’s curiosity.

Raymond Charles Horsch passed away before investigators knew about the case. Police are now dismantling the entire inside of the property at 416 W Chew in the Olney section of the city. They are concentrating in the basement and the upstairs.

Neighbors are upset as this has cause property values to fall. Police have no timetable for how long they will be at the house.

  1. Basically, this horror story is a modern-day version of the famous Gary Heidnik “death house” on North Marshall Street in north Philly that we all remember back in 1987.
In that case, there were 6 women victims, tied up in his basement.
