Levittown House Left Uninhabitable After Fire
by Alex Lloyd Gross
A house fire on Huckleberry Lane almost completely destroyed a house during a morning fire in the Holly Hlll section of the township. No injuries were reported. A call was received at the 911 call center about 9:00 AM and when the first engine got on scene, they had heavy fire from a one story house.
The fire burned through the roof, which necessitated firefighters to evacuate the house, due to the potential for a roof collapse. Fire companies from Falls Township were called to assist with the firefighting operations.
Everyone got out safe and according to Kevin Dippolito, there were no injuries. He is investigating the cause of the fire and he was unable to comment on the point of origin until the investigation was done. Fire apparatus were blocking the street making travel down the street impossible. Fire Police were on scene assisting with traffic and getting fire trucks back out of the street in a safe manner.
