One male was killed when a motorcycle he was driving collided with the rear of a tractor trailer on Ford Road and Pearl Buck Road in Bristol Twp.  Bucks County August 4, 2018. The crash happened about 6:30 PM.  Police arrived and found that a tractor trailer was making a turn  from Pearl Buck to go north on  Ford Road.  as most of the large truck was in it’s turn, a motorcycle was traveling down Ford Road and the driver collided with the rear  left  of the trailer.

The driver of the truck was not hurt. The motorcycle operator was killed and pronounced on scene.  Ford Road was closed for over six hours while tow trucks had to remove the wreckage.  The trailer was towed separate from the tractor and there were problems  loading them onto the tow vehicles.  It is too early to determine if the cycle was speeding or how fast it was going.  Once the investigation is finished and all of the calculations are put together,  a proper cause will be able to be determined.
