Traffic Alert in Bensalem as truck flips on interstate ramp

Motorists in Bensalem and in Philadelphia will have to find alternate routes of travel. A tractor trailer has flipped on the northbound exit onto Woodhaven Road. The exit to Woodhaven Road has been closed and will remain closed for an extended period of time, State Police said. There were no serious injuries. The crash happened just before noon . The truck was hauling dry wall and tile, which first must be off loaded before the truck can be up righted and towed away. Motorists can expect this to be closed for close to six hours.
To compound the problem, a vehicle accident happened on I-95 south, in between Academy Road and Woodhaven Road a separate accident was reported. That was being handled by Philadelphia emergency responders. Traffic south is backed up and vehicles are seeing the back log and trying to exit at Woodhaven road.
