Robbers Hold Up Two Convenience Stores In Northeast

People who are convenience store workers run the risk of getting robbed. It’s pretty stupid to rob one because there are camera everywhere. Nobody said crooks were smart. Captured on film is the latest venture into the stupid criminals file. Two robberies. Caught on tape. The thieves thought they would be smart by concealing their faces. Not true. The robberies happened earlier this month. Here is what we know:
On Monday, August 12, 2019, at approximately 2:10am, two unknown black males entered the Sunoco at Byberry and Bustleton Avenue pointing guns at the employee demanding money out of the register. One suspect threw a bag at the employee “stating put the money in the bag and make it quick.” The suspects fled the store and were last seen north with the an unknown amount of money. On Wednesday August 14, 2019, at 11:58pm, an employee for Wawa located at 801Cottman Avenue was outside the store when she was approached by an unknown black male and was forced inside the store with a handgun placed in her back. The suspect then gave a second employee a black bag telling her to fill it with the money from the register while pointing the gun at her head. After complying with the suspect demands placing the money inside the bag and putting it on the counter when suspect #2 took the bag off of the counter. Both suspects then fled the store to a parked vehicle in the area.
