Due to COVID-19, the Wizard World convention will not happen in Philadelphia this year.  It is going to be rescheduled for January 15-17 at the Philly Expo Center in Oaks Pa. That is in Montgomery County, spokesperson Jerry Milani said.

Fans who purchased general admission and/or VIP tickets for the original dates may use those for the rescheduled dates. Artists, exhibitors and others associated with the event can expect communication from Wizard Entertainment soon regarding the new dates.

Additionally, Wizard World announced other entries on its early 2021 calendar: New Orleans, January 8-10; Portland, January 29-31; and Cleveland, February 26-28.

A guest list has not yet been announced. Wizard World is famous for booking guests at the last minute. The only draw back to a winter convention is the uncertainty of bad weather. A blizzard can keep people home and the Philadelphia Expo Center does not have convenient public transportation  like the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
