Houses Egged, Fake Unemployment Claims Filed July 2021 Plumstead Twp Police Blotter



July 26 2021 At 9:23 am, Officers investigated a call for property damage on Old Oak Road that occurred overnight. Upon arrival Officers met with property owner who was able to show damage to the front of the home where eggs were thrown. No further leads at this time to identify the actor.
At 10:00 am, A Plumstead Township resident contacted the Department to report a fraud involving unemployment. The resident was informed that an unemployment claim was fraudulently opened in her name. A report was filed, and the complainant was advised to contact the unemployment office.
At 11:38 am, At 9:23 am, Officers investigated a call for mischief that occurred on Old Oak Road overnight. Upon arrival Officers met with property owner who was able to show damage to the front of the home where eggs were thrown. No further leads at this time to identify the actor.
At 11:40 am, A Plumstead Township resident contacted the Department to report a fraud involving unemployment. The resident was informed that an unemployment claim was fraudulently opened in her name. A report was filed, and the complainant was advised to contact the unemployment office.
At 6:08 pm, Officers investigated a call for property damage on Everview Drive that occurred overnight. Upon arrival Officers met with property owner who was able to show damage to the front windows of the home where eggs were thrown. No further leads at this time to identify the actor.
7/27/2021 At 1:52 am, Officers were dispatched for a check-the-wellbeing of an adult male on Swetland Drive who was showing signs of danger to himself or others. The male was offered services to speak with someone regarding his change in mental status, services refused. Mobile crisis intervention was contacted and responded to the residence.
At 2:40 pm, A Plumstead Township resident contacted the Department to report a fraud involving unemployment. The resident was informed that an unemployment claim was fraudulently opened in her name. A report was filed, and the complainant was advised to contact the unemployment office.
At 5:19 pm, Officers were dispatched for a check-the-well being of an adult female on Durham Road who was showing signs of danger to herself or others. The female was transported by Point Pleasant Plumsteadville EMS to a local hospital for evaluation.
7/28/2021 The Central Bucks Motor Carrier Safety Enforcement Team conducted a safety inspection detail in Plumstead Township between the hours of 7am till 3 pm. The team is made up of officers from this department, New Britain Township, Doylestown Township, and Quakertown Borough. During the detail, multiple citations were issued.
At 4:29 pm, Officers were dispatched for a check-the-wellbeing of an adult male on Swetland Drive who was showing signs of danger to himself or others. The male was offered services to speak with someone regarding his change in mental status and was transported by family members to a local hospital for evaluation.
7/29/2021 At 1:53 am, Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle on Easton Road bypass. An adult female occupied the drivers’ seat and was unable to respond to questions being asked of her from the responding Officers. Central Bucks EMS was requested for a medial evaluation. The female was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for evaluation.
7/30/2021 At 5:30 pm, Officers responded to a mental health stand-by from Lenape Valley Mobile Crisis on Swagger Road. Officers remained on scene while personal performed evaluation and no further action was taken. 8/1/2021 At 3:54 pm, Officers investigated a disturbance at a local business on Easton Road. Officers were able to make contact with the individuals involved and mediate the complaint.
