Pedestrian Killed On Aramingo Avenue

It was just after 10:15 AM when a southbound vehicle on the 4100 block of Aramingo Avenue struck and killed a male trying to cross the streets. The male was hit head on by the car, as evidenced by the damage done to the vehicle. The male suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by medics, police said.
The driver of the car remained on scene and cooperated with police. no names were released, pending notifications. traffic was detoured around the scene and southbound Aramingo Avenue was closed for a few hours for the investigation.
