Security Footage Released In Murder Of City Sanitation Worker

Philadelphia Police have just released video taken by nearby homes of a male that is responsible for the shooting death of ikeem Johnson, who was working as a sanitation worker last week . Authorities say it was a hit and it was planned.

Johnson was a passenger in a  trash truck which was flagged down. When he got out, he was shot multiple times. The shooter ran away and was possibly picked up by a vehicle that police said was with him.  The shooting happened just before 10:30 AM on November 18, 2022 on Rowland Avenue, just outside Lincoln High School.

The suspect vehicle, driven by individual(s) in addition to the suspect, is described as a 2015 to 2019 Subaru Outback, dark in color, with a roof rack, dark tinted windows and an unknown Pennsylvania license plate.   The city has issued a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible.
