Philly Medic Unit Rammed By Stolen Car In Tacony

One male is under arrest facing a slew of charges and a Philadelphia Paramedic is recovering from broken ribs and a leg injury after their rig was hit by a stolen car yesterday about 10:00 AM. The crash intersection is Cheltenham Avenue and Saul Street. This is in the Tacony section of the city.
Police said that both vehicles tried to make it through the intersection at the same time. There were reports that the car was being pursued by police. The car was reported as stolen and the driver was arrested for suspected DUI. He was driving a 2021 Infinity, Qx80, Black in color. Police said that the driver has serious injuries and is under arrest. Both vehicles were totaled.The medic unit was responding to a call but did not have patients in the back.
