School Bus Crash In Falls Township Injures Students

A school bus and a car collided almost head-on this afternoon at the intersection of Bristol Oxford Valley Road and Terrace Dr. in Falls Township. Originally dispatched as Middletown, when police first arrived, it was determined to be in Falls. The accident happened about 3:10 PM.
One vehicle operated by a Trenton NJ resident appeared to be traveling towards the Oxford Valley Mall. Police said a pot hole in the road could have contributed to the wreck. The bus with about 20 children on it slammed into the car. The bus then went into a clump of bushes. The emergency door to the bus was open, and children evacuated from there.
None of the injuries was serious. Still as children called parents from their cellphones, concerned parents rushed to the scene and were met by police who at first kept them across the street. Within a few minutes, they were brought across the street to be reunited. The children, were teenagers. None of the injuries was considered to be life threatening.
Multiple ambulances were brought to the scene to transport the injured.
