Ameen Hurst Escaped Prisoner Back In Custody

Ameen Hurst was taken into custody today, at 8:50 AM by Philadelphia Police and US Marshals. He escaped from the Philadelphia Industrial Corrections Center on May 7,2023. His freedom lasted less than a month.
Hurst was taken into custody on the 6100 block of Washington Ave. without incident. Police and prison authorities said that they are still investigating to see if anyone helped him escape or helped him on the outside. More information will be released later.
