19 Year Old Male On Probation Now Person Of Interest In Multiple Shootings

Probation is an appropriate sentence for a first time, non violent offender.  Some people are able to learn from their mistakes and go on to be productive members of society. Not Brian Amerman. He was arrested last year for Simple Assault, Reckless Endangerment, Resisting Arrest. He was given probation and promised to behave. Police said he lied.

Through investigations, police believe that Amerman is a one man crime wave, terrorizing the city,  He is wanted for investigation for  the following crimes: Police believe he may be responsible for the ATM robberies along the 6500 block of Cottman Ave.

 

 

 

 

24th District-Shooting Incident.

On Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 12:51 P.M.,

A 22-year-old black male suffered two gunshot wounds to the left leg. Police transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in critical condition. Scene held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Shooting Investigation Group.

15th District-Shooting Incident.

On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 9:02 P.M., Philadelphia Police responded to the 6500 block of Roosevelt Boulevard for a person with a gun.

A 53-year-old Hispanic male was laying near a stand-alone ATM in plaza parking lot with gunshot wounds to the chest and leg. Police transported the victim to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital, where he was placed in critical condition. Scene held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Shooting Investigation Group.

24th District-Shooting Incident.

On Sunday, May 14, 2023, at 4:54 P.M., Philadelphia Police responded to the 2800 block of Amber Street for report of gunshots.

A 17-year-old Hispanic male suffered three gunshot wounds to the leg. He was transported by private vehicle to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition. Scene held, no weapon and no arrest. The investigation is active and ongoing with Shooting Investigation Group.

15th District-Robbery Incident.

On Friday, May 12, 2023, at 12:50 A.M., A robbery occurred on the 6500 block of Roosevelt Boulevard.

A 21-year-old white male was attempting to deposit money in an ATM. Two suspects approached the victim with guns. The victim was struck on the left side of the head with the gun. Taken was USC and Nissan Murano. Vehicle was recovered May 22, 2023. No scene, no arrest and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detective Division.

15th District-Robbery Incident.

On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 12:05 A.M., Philadelphia Police responded to the 6500 block of Roosevelt Boulevard for a robbery.

A 43-year-old white male was approached by the suspect with a gun. The victim refused to give the suspect USC and was hit over the head with the gun. The suspect fled with USC and victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was recovered by police on the 19XX block of East Sedgley Street at 11:17 A.M. Scene held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detective Division.
