Convicted Felon Will Serve Prison Time For Shooting At Motorists

Andre Kenny Mark Green, of Fort Washington PA is going to state prison for up to 30 years. It’s a place he is familiar with. He is a convicted felon and as such, was not allowed to have guns when he shot at other cars on the PA Turnpike. .

That fact did not stop him, police said. On several occasions, when he got angry at another driver on the PA Turnpike last year. Instead of ignoring his anger, Green pulled out a pistol and fired at the driver. The first time was on March 15, 2022 Police said.

This happened several more times, in fact, on one occasion,  just six days later, on March 21, state police were dispatched to a second highway shooting. The vehicle and the driver had similar descriptions as the March 15 shooting. Police located two projectiles inside the victim’s vehicle. The victim said the shooting left her with a scar on her leg. She said she continued to be traumatized by the shooting and can hardly drive. “I didn’t deserve this,” she said Thursday, during sentencing.

While Green did plead guilty to aggravated assault, prohibited possession of a firearm, firearms not to be carried without a license, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault, harassment, and fraudulent use/removal of a registration plate, he will do the next 15-30 years of his life behind bars.

He will also undergo anger management treatment.
