Bensalem Police Arrest Familiar Face, This Time For For Drugs

Kevin Baker Jr. That name rings a bell to police in Lower Bucks County.  He was arrested for leaving the scene of a fatal accident in 2022. It was in Croydon, on Christmas Eve that he  ran over and killed someone on State Road..  He was back in handcuffs again, this time for allegedly dealing large quantities of marijuana in Bensalem Township, police said.

They got word he was dealing out of his home on Sandy Lane, so a series of controlled buys was started. Once police had the evidence needed, they secured a search warrant.   At 10:50 AM on July 6, 2023  multiple search warrants were served. One on Sandy Lane, where Baker was arrested. The other was is stash house in the Hamilton Court Apartments. It was in there that cops found a money counter, drug paraphernalia, edible “gummys”, THC cartridges and a large amount of marijuana.

Inside Sandy Lane, items were seized including US currency, a large amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, dab oils and high-end watches. Baker had over $120,000 in cash wrapped in rubber bands. Detective Glenn Vandegrift said it appeared he used the apartment to store paraphernalia.  He was charged with Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and related charges. He remains in jail under $7,00,000 bail, set by District Justice Joseph Falcone. .
