Police Release Video Of Suspects In South Philadelphia Murder

Police in Philadelphia tracked the vehicle and suspects they say are responsible for the shooting death of 50 year old Michael Salerno who tried to stop a friend from being carjacked on July 12th 2023 about 10:43 PM.This happened on the 1100 block of Porter Street.
With the proliferation of security cameras everywhere, it’s just a matter of time before these two males are caught. Not only is there video of the shooting, but police also shared video of where they came from .They were in a red KIA Soul. This vehicle may have had New Jersey plates.
One of the suspects has an Under Armor hoodie and black pants with a defect in them. Some of the video is infrared, which can distort some of the video, while enhancing other aspects.. There is a $20,000 reward for information on who these guys are.
