Haz-Mat Scare In Bensalem

Last night, on Jordan Drive, a resident received a suspicious package, containing an unknown substance. The substance got on counter tops and other surfaces inside their home, when they opened the package. They called 911 which brought out police fire and EMS.
No health symptoms were experienced like a rash or shortness of breath by anyone. The fire department was ordered to stage at the entrance to Bucks County Estates , while the county Haz-Mat team suited up and went inside to investigate.
They did not find anything harmful and no injuries were reported. According to Bensalem authorities, there was no danger to the community. Police are investigating the source of the package and could not say why that package was sent to that address. All emergency crews cleared the area by midnight.
