Two Hurt In Mayfair Crash On Frankford Avenue

Two medic units were called to a crash on Frankford Avenue this morning, about 10:45 AM. Two vehicles had collided at the intersection of Frankford Avenue and Levick Street. This intersection is controlled by a traffic signal. One driver went against a red light, police on scene said.
One vehicle was south on Frankford while the other was west on Levick Street. one vehicle slammed into a street light after the initial impact. None of the injuries was said to be life threatening. The road was blocked for about an hour while wreckers got the street cleared.
A police Sgt. was involved in a different accident on Harbison Avenue, when a woman driving a car made a U-turn in front of her patrol car. There were no injuries reported in that accident.
