Arrest Made In Shooting Of 15 Year Old Girl In Head On Guyer Street

Sharnay Lewis, 31, had gotten into an argument on Guyer Street, in South West Philadelphia. She was arguing with a 15 year old girl and for whatever reason, Lewis is accused of getting a black pistol and then firing one shot at the victim, who was seated in the passenger seat of a car.
Lewis allegedly fired one shot through the rear window, and the bullet traveled through the passenger side headrest, before striking the victim in the back of the head. The girl went by private auto to the 12th Police District. From there, officers took her to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where she is listed in stable condition.
Police went back to Guyer Street and arrested Lewis. A firearm and ballistic evidence were recovered from Lewis’ house. She is charged with Aggravated Assault,, Reckless Endangering, firearms and related offenses, police said.
