Philadelphia Male Arrested For Passing Fake Money In Feasterville

Police in Lower Southampton Twp. were called to a WAWA store after a male went in and paid for merchandise with a counterfeit $100.00 bill. According to police, he made a small purchase and got back US Currency as change. This is a common tactic police said, among people that wish to spread fake cash.

This incident took place in January of this year. Using license plate reader technology, police said they tracked down the male and identified him as 26-year-old Zahir D. Delmoral of Philadelphia PA was identified as being the individual who passed this non-genuine note. It was also learned that Delmoral has an open active Arrest Warrant out of New Jersey for the same activity

Police recently found Delmoral in the Lebanon County Prison. He is in there awaiting sentencing for forgery and counterfeiting, court records show. He will stay in Lebanon County until his preliminary in Bucks County. His bail in Bucks County is $30,000. His charges are Forgery and Attempted Theft By Deception.
