50 people have been killed in Philadelphia this year.  This averages out to over one person murdered a day.  Here is the latest.

 

 

14th District-Homicide by Double Shooting Incident Update

On Sunday, January 31st, 2021 on the 800 block of East Washington Lane (on the highway) at approximately 7:15 A.M., Victim #1– A 27-year-old  male was shot in the back, neck, chest and to the head.   He was transported by police to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced at 7:29 A.M.  Victim #2- A 25–30-year-old  female was shot in the right eye.  She was transported by police to Albert Einstein Medical Center and currently is listed in stable condition.  The scene was held, no arrest made, and no weapon recovered.  The investigation is active and ongoing with Homicide Detectives Division.

Update:  The victim was later identified as Ameen Green of the 61XX block of Belfield Avenue.

25th District- Homicide by Shooting Incident Update

On Sunday, January 31st, 2021 on the 4900 block of Rorer Street (inside a residency) at approximately 2:54 A.M., A 20-year-old  male was shot (1) time in the head.   He was transported PFD-Medic Unit to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced at 3:34 A.M.   The scene was held, no arrest made, and weapons recovered.  The investigation is active and ongoing with Homicide Detectives Division.

Update:  The victim was later identified as Lucas A Booker of the 4900 block of Rorer Street.

Motive and Suspect:  Unknown

12th District- Homicide by Stabbing Incident Update

On Saturday, January 30th, 2021 on the 5800 block of Florence Avenue inside the apartment at approximately 7:53 P.M., A 61-year-old  male suffered a stab wound to the left side of his head during an altercation.   He was pronounced on scene by PFD-Medic Unit at 8:33 P.M.  The scene was held, no arrest made, and no weapon recovered.

Update: The victim was later identified as Raymond Lee of the 5800 block of Florence Avenue
