New Brunswick Police Arrest Bensalem Fugitive For Robbing Senior Citizen

Police in New Brunswick New Jersey tracked down Tyrick Miranda and arrested him on a robbery warrant from Bensalem.  Police said that Miranda was hiding in NJ after he robbed 70 year old Bong-J Chung,   The victim  was punched in the face more than once. he fell to the ground and was knocked unconscious. Police said that the robber then kicked Chung in the face two times and then fled with an unknown amount of cash.


Police said the robber was Miranda and he was eluding police in New Brunswick.. He is in custody and will remain in New Jersey pending extrication to Pa.



The victim was hospitalized from the assault.  Miranda will face robbery and assault charges once he is brought back to Bensalem.
